Advanced Open Water Diver

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to provide divers with a structured, well supervised means to gain practical experience after their initial certification.  The course consists of two (2) core dives and three (3) elective dives.

CORE DIVES:
  
   * Deep Dive
   * Navigation Dive

ELECTIVE DIVES are chosen by the instructor and/or student from the following:
  * Night Dive
   * Search & Recovery
   * Underwater Naturalist
   * Freshwater Ecology
   * Underwater Photography
   * Boat Dive
   * DVP Dive (underwater scooters)
   * Wreck Dive
   * Drift Dive
   * Peak Performance Buoyancy 
   * Multi-level Dive

The course consists of  classroom sessions and 5 open water training dives.   The open water training dives can be completed over the course of 1 weekend;  however, depending on which dives you choose and where you choose to complete them, it may take a longer period of time to complete the course.
 

Course Fees:      $375.00    All Inclusive
- all class/open water instruction
- PADI Adventures in Diving Manual & Slate
- use of specialty equipment  (cameras, scooters, etc.)
- Full Equipment Rental (see below)
- Air fills for 5 dives
- boat charters on Long Point Bay (2-3 dives will be completed from a boat)
- PADI certification fees/card
- GST

 

Equipment Rental Includes:
- full wetsuit with hood, boots, gloves,
- Buoyancy Compensator
- Regulator, Octopus, Gauges, Compass
- Tanks
- Weights & belt
- Light for night dive
